TOP TIP: For the best tasting fruit, pick it ripe.

Much of the fruit you buy pre-picked is harvested just before the point of readiness, this means it will last longer on the shelf in the shop.

By picking your own you are in charge of quality, you can pick fruit which is fully ripe and the natural sugars will develop to improve the flavour.

The availability of different fruits will vary. Please check to see if your chosen fruit can be picked today. The information provided is updated regularly throughout the picking season. It is difficult to guarantee a constant supply at any time.

The main fruit grown on the farm is strawberries.
A recent innovation in this crop is to lift the plants off the ground and grow them on a raised structure known as “table top production”. This method is much easier to pick from and means no bending for the customer and no need to use weed killers in the crop.

Most of the Strawberries are now protected by poly tunnels, this should improve quality and keep customers dry during a typical British Summer.
